ABOUT ME

I didn't start grooming as just a job-I started it because I love dogs, deeply and genuinely.

My journey began years ago when I started rescuing dogs from Romania.

Many of them arrived frightened, neglected, unsure of humans, and in need of patience more than anything else. Caring for them taught me something powerful: dogs don't just need food and shelter- they need calm, understanding and kindness.

Spending time with rescue dogs changed me. I learned how sensitive they are, how easily they read our energy, and how important thrust is. Watching scared dogs slowly relax, feel safe, and finally wag their tails was what made me realise this wasn't just a passion, it was my calling.

Dog grooming became a natural extension of that love. For me, grooming isn't a bout rushing or forcing a dog through a process. It's about creating a peaceful, cosy environment where every dog feels safe, respected, and cared for. Especially nervous dogs, puppies, and rescues-they hold a special place in my heart.

At Groomzy Paw's, every dog is treated as if they were my own. I take time to understand their personality and body language.

This isn't just a business for me - it's the life I chose because it reflects who I am. A life built around love, patience, and the belief that every dog deserves to feel safe, clean, comfortable, and happy.

Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistant

City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming

Also, this Diploma involved theory assignments, which covered:

-Health Checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour
-Prepare, Style and Finish a range of Dog Breeds

-Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
-Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with Relevant Legislation
-Customer Care and Managing Complaints
-Assess and Plan Dog Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment

-Canine Emergency First Aid

Trained in practical skills such as Bathing, Scissoring, Clipping, Nail Trimming & Hand Stripping.
